The yoga retreat program is based on two 1.5 hr yoga classes per day.
The morning Vinyasa class is a hatha style of yoga, which focuses on connecting the movement with breath. This class requires the practitioner to move through a series of poses before holding them through the power of the Ujjayi breath (inhaling and exhaling through the nose). With the practice of Hatha Yoga, we consciously integrate body, breath, and mind to clear the body of toxins and impurities. This invigorating class will leave you feeling light and energized ready to explore the wonders of North Bali.
The afternoon class will be dedicated to a Yin style of yoga. This is more of a meditative type of practice used to access the deeper tissues as poses are held up to 5 minutes, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. It has also been known to improve organ health, immunity, and emotional well-being. This practice is great to counter a more dynamic style of yoga such as Vinyasa Yoga.
On top of that we have the unique possibilities to have a purification/ meditation class at the Pemuteran Tempel and also on the beach at sunrise!
